How to choose the right size heating tube for mold heating?
1. The selection of the mounting hole size of the mold heating tube is closely related to the heat density of the electric heating tube. Different heat densities produce different temperatures, and the degree of expansion of the protective sleeve is also very different. Therefore, it is necessary to make a suitable mounting hole size and determine the diameter of the electric heating tube.
2. For the heating tube, the heat of the heating tube is transferred to the heating medium at the fastest speed, thereby reducing the heat of the heating tube itself, so that its use time will be longer. At the same time, the air also hinders the conduction of heat. If the gap between the heating tube and the mold hole is too large, the heat of the heating tube cannot be transferred to the module in time, which will cause the internal temperature of the heating tube to be too high and affect the service life of the heating tube.
If there is no gap between the heating tube and the mold hole, the heating tube will expand after use, and it will not be easy to replace if damaged. Therefore, we suggest that the closer the tube diameter and the aperture, the better. The gap is generally between 1mm and 2mm, so that the heating heat can be quickly transferred to the mold, reducing the heat of the heating tube itself, and prolonging the service life of the heating tube.
